Jen Lilley Returns to DAYS OF OUR LIVES!
It looks like some familiar faces are coming back for Victor’s memorial. Jen Lilley is returning to DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Theresa for this sad occasion. Soap Opera Digest is reporting that she will air during the week of Monday, Aug. 28.
Lilley debuted as the adult Theresa Donovan back in July 2013 and played the character until her exit in November 2016. She returned to DAYS for a brief run in 2018 that lasted from May to July. The last time viewers saw Theresa, she was making a tearful exit from Salem with her son, Tate. And it looks like her visit home will be just as emotional.
DAYS wasn’t actually Lilley’s daytime debut. The actress’ first soap role was filling in as Maxie Jones on GENERAL HOSPITAL from 2011-12 while portrayer Kirsten Storms was out on medical leave. And since leaving daytime, Lilley continued to pursue her music career, releasing two albums, and appearing in TV movies for the Hallmark Channel and GAC Media including Winter Love Story, Love on Repeat, Snowkissed, A Little Daytime Drama, and Where Your Heart Belongs.
In real life, Lilley married her husband, Jason Wayne, in May 2007. The couple became foster parents in 2016 and ultimately adopted sons Kayden and Jeffrey in 2019. Just a month later, Lilley gave birth to a baby girl named Julie, and in 2022, the family welcomed another girl, Jackie.
