Lindsay Arnold Exits DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Salem is losing another legacy character as Lindsay Arnold leaves DAYS OF OUR LIVES where she has been playing Allie Horton for nearly three years.

After being played by a series of twins from 2007-14, the character of Allie Horton was aged into a young adult in 2020, with Arnold first airing as Lucas and Sami’s daughter in June of that year. In September, it was reported that the actress had been upped to contract status with the show, but now Soap Opera Digest is reporting in their latest issue that Arnold has already wrapped filming.

Arnold’s run began with Allie coming home to Salem to announce that she was pregnant after being date raped and the culprit was eventually revealed to be Charlie Dale. Then she ran into her old friend, Chanel, and the pair rekindled their feelings for each other, eventually kicking off a romance.

Unfortunately, Allie and Chanel have been at odds recently, with Allie jealous of Chanel’s continuing closeness with Johnny and Chanel jealous of Allie’s interest in Alex. And while the two women had previously slept with Alex together, Allie bedding the hunk on her own could prove the straw that broke the camel’s back.
