Finola Hughes Opens up About Working With Two Great Actors on GH

Tags:

Anna’s life has been turned upside down on GENERAL HOSPITAL lately and things are looking pretty grim. But portrayer Finola Hughes is having a great time behind the scenes because as dark as the storyline is, it’s giving her the opportunity to share tons of scenes with Maurice Benard (Sonny) and Dominic Zamprogna (Dante)!

“I am loving working with Mo and Dominic,” Hughes gushed in a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest. “Maurice and I have had several great scenes together now, and Dom and I spent a day doing three shows together, back-to-back, and it was just really great.”

Anna and Sonny found themselves thrown together when a shooter opened fire at the Metro Court pool and they both wondered which one of them was the real target. (Sadly, it was Curtis who got caught in the crossfire and wound up paralyzed from his injuries.) And as they tried to dig around and uncover the truth themselves, Dante joined the investigation in an official capacity to try and bring the assassin to justice.

What’s better than working with one great actor? Working with two great actors at the same time!ABC

“He’s just such an excellent actor,” Hughes declared of Zamprogna. “And obviously, Maurice is amazing, too. I learn so much from them, actually. It just helps me find areas of myself when I’m onstage with either of them and it’s been really cool.”

Of course, although it now appears that Anna has been the target all along, the connection to the Pikeman security firm keeps Sonny involved, and he’s going to continue to do whatever he can to help keep his friend safe. And naturally, Dante will be on the case officially. So keep watching GH to see plenty more scenes with these three talented actors working together!
