General Hospital Spoilers 8/17/22: Carly Goes off on Nina!

The pressure is on in these new GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Nikolas scrambles when Jordan shows up to search Wyndemere, Curtis’ confession has Portia worried, TJ nudges Willow to come clean with Michael, Trina wants answers from Spencer, Sonny catches Dex in a lie, and Carly (again!) rips into Nina!

Oz’s testimony not only cleared Trina’s name but also turned the focus of the PCPD’s investigation on Esme. And since Jordan needs to find the missing minx, the first place she’s going to start searching for clues is Esme’s last residence: Wyndemere. Needless to say, Nikolas and Victor aren’t too happy when the police chief comes knocking on the castle’s door! “I have a warrant to search the premises,” Jordan informs the worried Cassadines. Will she find any evidence of Esme’s fall?

Now that Trina has been cleared of filming that revenge-porn video of Josslyn and Cameron, her friends and family can stop worrying that she’ll spend the next decade behind bars. And Curtis does exactly that by making a promise to Portia. “I’m going to love her,” he tells his girlfriend of her daughter, “just like she’s mine.” Aw! Does that mean that Curtis is about to take his and Portia’s relationship to the next level with a proposal? Or is Portia panicking on the inside because Curtis actually is Trina’s father?

Meanwhile, over at the hospital, Willow is trying to wrap her head around the details Terry and Britt gave her regarding her leukemia diagnosis. Will she keep the devastating news about her health to herself? TJ is certainly concerned that that’s what his friend has in mind! “You are going to tell Michael,” the worried doctor asks his friend, “aren’t you?”

At the courthouse, something has Josslyn all riled up. Could it be that Spencer is having second thoughts about letting Trina know that he believed in her all along? That’s certainly something that Josslyn would want her best friend to know! “I cannot promise you that I’m going to keep this from her,” a frustrated Joss tells someone, as Cameron looks over her shoulder.

Has Josslyn convinced Spencer to finally come clean to Trina about her feelings for her? Something made Spencer decide to testify in her defense, and Trina wants him to tell her the truth. “Are you going to tell me what changed?” she asks. But with his own jail sentence hanging over his head, Spencer isn’t exactly in the position to tell Trina that he has feelings for her!

Loyalty means everything to Sonny, and the mob boss won’t stand for his employees showing him any disrespect. Did Brick find something in Dex’s background check that Sonny’s new errand boy has been trying to hide? Down at the docks, Sonny confronts Dex and puts the pressure on the new guy to come clean. “This is how I deal with liars,” Sonny informs Dex. Has Dex’s boss found out that he’s really working for Michael?

Grab your popcorn for another juicy showdown between Carly and Nina! Carly’s at the Metro Court for Willow’s graduation party, where Nina and Sonny were having a date night at the bar. Is Nina gloating about having all that used to be Carly’s? “You deserve everything you’re getting,” Carly spits at her nemesis.
