GH’s Ava and Grace Scarola Embark on a New Adventure!
Viewers have watched Ava and Grace Scarola grow up on screen as Avery, Sonny and Ava’s daughter on GENERAL HOSPITAL. And now the twins are starting an exciting new adventure… although they’re quick to reassure their fans that they’ll still be working on the soap!
“Hey everyone!” they shared on Instagram. “We’re super excited to share that we’ve joined a new soccer club — Sporting California! Soccer has always been a huge part of our lives and this new team is like a dream come true.
“But don’t worry, we’re not stepping away from the spotlight,” they added. “Acting is still very much our thing! From the soccer field to the set, we’re all about chasing our passions.”
Just one month after Avery was born on GH in 2014, the Scarola twins took over the role of Sonny and Ava’s baby girl, and have continued to trade off playing the character as she’s grown up. In real life, the girls are very active in various sports including swimming, tennis, and of course, soccer.
They “kicked things off” back in May 2019 with their first season with the American Youth Soccer Organization. And now that they’ve grown up, Ava and Grace have joined Sporting California, a competitive soccer club that develops “World Class Players” according to their official website.
“We can’t wait to share all our adventures with you,” the twins declared. “Whether we’re lacing up our cleats or learning our lines, you’ll get to see it all. Let’s make some memories together! Are you ready, #TwinSquad? Let’s kick off this new chapter with goals and roles!”
