James Patrick Stuart’s Disney Series Renewed!

Great news for James Patrick Stuart (Valentin, GENERAL HOSPITAL) — his Disney series, THE VILLAINS OF VALLEY VIEW, has been renewed for a second season! Available to watch on Disney Channel and streaming on Disney+, Stuart stars as the head of a family of supervillains forced to hide their powers and act “normal” in a suburban neighborhood.

“It isn’t hard to see why audiences have fallen in love with the villainous Madden family,” said Ayo Davis, president, Disney Branded Television, in a statement. “Despite a penchant for utilizing their superpowers in everyday life, Amy and family ultimately care about and support one another. Even though life can be messy, ridiculous, and sometimes frightening, the Maddens demonstrate the (super)power of family and togetherness.”

There’s also good news for GH fans, because when filming of season two begins this fall, it’s likely that Stuart will once again juggle both series as he did for season one of VILLAINS OF VALLEY VIEW. Back when he shot the Disney pilot in early 2021, the actor assured his fans he wasn’t leaving the soap. “We film 15 minutes from the GH stage,” he said at the time. “While it would create scheduling headaches for some very cool people, I have no plans to hang up Valentin’s dancing shoes any time soon.”

Of course, it will mean that Valentin will have to be either backburnered or ushered off the canvas in some way this fall as he was last year. But hopefully, this time he won’t be kidnapped! And here’s hoping it also doesn’t affect his attempts to bring down Victor or his budding romance with Anna that is only just getting back on track after his last absence!

Keep checking back here at for further updates as we learn more about how Stuart will manage to once again balance both shows and when we can expect to enjoy season two of THE VILLAINS OF VALLEY VIEW!
