Jon Lindstrom Teases His Exciting New Movie!

Playing Kevin and sometimes Ryan on GENERAL HOSPITAL apparently isn’t enough to keep Jon Lindstrom busy because he’s actually off filming another movie right now! “Today I am working with an Oscar winner,” he teased on Instagram with a selfie taken in his dressing room wearing a dashing suit. He added the hashtags “#grateful,” “#MakingMovies,” “LiveYourDreams,” “#Oscar,” and “#SecretShow.”

Unfortunately, the actor hasn’t yet revealed what the name of this particular film is or who the Oscar winner is with whom he is working. Lindstrom’s IMDb page lists two recent films, but Marzipan is said to be in post-production while Der Erlöser is in pre-production, so it’s not clear what he’s filming right now!

However, this film does have an unusual GH connection in that a member of the movie’s crew is actually a big fan of the ABC sudser and Lindstrom snapped a selfie with her wearing a Corinthos Coffee T-shirt! “As I’m leaving set on the East Coast yesterday, I hear a voice behind me, ‘I didn’t know you were in this!’” he exclaimed. “I turn and she points to her shirt. She’s a set dresser on this shoot. Then she says, “I love Kevin! Ryan, not so much.” One of life’s happy accidents.”

While Lindstrom is on the East Coast filming, wife Cady McClain (Dixie, ALL MY CHILDREN) came to his rescue for dinner by treating him to a delicious pastrami sandwich from a famous New York City delicatessen. “The hotel is a big ‘food challenged,’ he admitted, “But Cady solved it by arranging a Zabar’s delivery right to my room. This is what I got to unwind with last night. And lots more where that came from. Best. Wife. Ever.”
