Kate Mansi Snaps Pics With Her GH Twin Sister!
It may have been only just recently that Kate Mansi took over the role of Kristina on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but she seems to be settling in just fine! In fact, the actress showed just how well she was fitting into the Davis Girls by sharing some photos of herself and TV sister Kelly Monaco (Sam) that showed they’re practically twins! “Same same but diff,” Mansi captioned the pics.
Snapped in the GH studio with the Metro Court pool set in the background, Mansi and Monaco are both wearing similar-colored layers over black hoodies, with black pants and black boots to match! In the first image, it looks like Mansi is pointing out their twinning because, in the second and third, she’s looking into the camera while Monaco is doubled over in laughter. The final shot is a lovely photo of the TV sisters posing properly together.
Mansi made her daytime debut back in 2011 when she joined the cast of DAYS OF OUR LIVES as a recast of Abigail Deveraux. After she left in 2016, the soap recast the character again with Marci Miller, and when she left in 2018, Mansi reprised the role until 2020 at which point, Miller stepped back in until the character’s death in 2022.
Monaco’s first soap role was playing Olivia “Livvie” Locke Morley on PORT CHARLES in 1999 right up until its end in 2003. After the GH spinoff was canceled, the actress made her way to the main show to play the newly-created character of Samantha McCall that same year.
While Sam and Kristina have been butting heads recently on GH, the two actors seem to be getting along famously! So fans can look forward to seeing much more of the Davis Girls in the near future!
