Kimberly J. Brown Says Goodbye to GENERAL HOSPITAL
While GENERAL HOSPITAL hasn’t actually shown the final fate of the fake Nurse Chloe Jennings (let alone reveal her real name!), Kimberly J. Brown appears to have finished her run on the soap as she took to social media to look back at the experience. “Being on GH was a total blast,” she declared. “And the definite icing on the cake was working with Kirsten Storms (Maxie).”
Yes, Brown and Storms have more than soaps in common — Brown played Marah on GUIDING LIGHT and Storms first hit it big as Belle on DAYS OF OUR LIVES — they were both once big parts of the Mouse House! Back in the ’90s, Storms hit it big starring in the Xenon series of movies and Brown starred in the popular Halloweentown flicks! “We’ve known each other for years after both growing up working on Disney Channel,” Brown explained, “but never worked together until now!”
Of course, while Nurse Jennings was initially all sweetness and nice with Maxie in order to land the job as her nurse, being secretly in Peter’s employ led her to eventually drop the facade and drug the mom-to-be to abduct her and induce labor! The storyline climaxed in Maxie’s desperate escape attempt and concluded with the nurse falling into a pit in the middle of the woods! “We may not have gotten along very well on camera,” Brown admitted with a wink, “but off camera was the total opposite and I loved getting to act and hang with her.”
In soaps, you can never be completely sure if a character is out of the picture, especially if there’s no dead body (and sometimes not even then!), so who’s to say that this woman who masqueraded as Nurse Jennings won’t crawl her way out of that pit and head to Port Charles looking for revenge? You’ll just have to keep watching GH to see what happens next!
