Listen to William Lipton’s Song “Darling Darling” From GENERAL HOSPITAL!
Viewers of GENERAL HOSPITAL are well aware of William Lipton’s musical abilities as the talented actor has performed some of his original songs on the soap in the past. But those were solos. In the Sept. 6 episode of GH, he was backed by a full band and they all rocked out at The Savoy with the song “Darling Darling!” This group is actually Lipton’s real-life band, The Runarounds, which includes Axel Ellis, Zende Murdock, Jesse Golliher, and Jeremy Yun.
“Thank you so much, [GH executive producer] Frank Valentini for having my band, The Runarounds, on today’s episode of GH for a cameo,” Lipton tweeted. “Huge thank you to [GH music supervisor] Paul S. Glass for the awesome sound! “Darling Darling” will be out on all music platforms shortly.”
With social media filling up with tons of comments from fans congratulating Lipton and his band on their fantastic performance, he expressed his gratitude for all the love and support. “Thank you for all your kind comments about my band and the song on today’s episode of GH. Song will soon be on all musical platforms. in the meantime, you can listen to it on SoundCloud.”

“Darling Darling” was written by Lipton himself and at his SoundCloud page, you can find some of his other songs like “We Weren’t Done With This Yet,” which he also performed on GH back in March 2021 as a tribute to his late stepfather, Franco. You might also remember “Side By Side,” which he sang at Liz and Franco’s wedding reception in 2019, or his Nurses Ball performance of “North Star” from the same year.
