GENERAL HOSPITAL Nurses Ball 2014: The Performances

When GENERAL HOSPITAL began airing encore episodes due to the production shutdown during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, they kicked things off with a week’s worth of classic Nurses Ball episodes. And while GH fans love all the over-the-top drama that happens during the annual fundraiser (proposals, murder attempts, bombs… you know, the usual!) it’s the show-stopping musical numbers that fans look forward to every year. So we present for your viewing pleasure some of the musical numbers from the 2014 GH Nurses Ball!

As usual, the ball kicked off with a song and dance routine from the hospital’s nursing staff, but this year it was quickly interrupted when Dr. Obrecht took over the show with an unforgettable performance of “Willkommen” from the musical Cabaret. (Although the residents of Port Charles in the audience who aren’t the scheming doc’s biggest fans didn’t seem to enjoy it at all!)

Luke Spencer took to the stage for an ironic rendition of “I Am What I Am” from La Cage Aux Follies, given that at this point in time, he wasn’t quite himself.

It wouldn’t be the Nurses Ball without a performance from Magic Milo, and this year Milo and the Magic Wands (Nathan, Lucas, Felix, Michael, and TJ) did a sexy striptease set to AC/DC’s hit song “You Shook Me All Night Long.” You know you want to watch it again!

Kiki belted out a rousing rendition of P!nk’s “Raise Your Glass” with Felix, Liz, TJ, and Lucas as backup (with additional backup dancers to fill out the colorful balloon-covered stage).

Ned rocked the crowd as Eddie Maine with a performance of Meat Loaf’s classic “You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth (Hot Summer Night).”

Although Blackie Parrish was set to perform, his absence left a slot open for Brad to sing “Brokenhearted” by Karmin as an attempt to get Lucas’ attention. Shame it didn’t really work!

Little Emma and Cameron were right in the middle of their dance routine when their tango was interrupted by Spencer, who had hired the band Player to perform their classic “Baby Come Back” as a grand gesture to win back Emma.

Lulu enlisted recording artist Eddie Gomez to perform at the benefit and he sang his song “Criminal Love” for the crowd.

Lulu also persuaded Maxie to help out by joining her group number with Kiki, Sam, and Molly as they all sang Icona Pop’s banging “I Love It.”

Unfortunately, GH only aired two of the three days of 2014 Nurses Ball performances, so this isn’t a complete list. (Also, they unfortunately didn’t upload Mr. Marbles to YouTube.) But we thought you’d like these all collected in one place so you can watch your faves whenever you want!
