Watch Robert Palmer Watkins’ New Music Video!

Tags:

As we still await the release of his full album, GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Robert Palmer Watkins (ex-Dillon) has now dropped the music video for his first single, “Waiting!” Talking about the track, the performer said it “was written about a past relationship of mine. She lived in Atlanta, I was in L.A., and both being in the industry, we were always waiting on each others’ calls.”

In the music video, Watkins’ character falls for a gorgeous model — played by Christine Ann Becker — and they spend time both together and apart as she pursues her career and he pursues her. You can watch the entire music video directed by Lea Sturgis right here!

Watkins took over the role of Dillon Quartermaine on GH and played the popular character until he was written out in 2017. He has continued acting in series like THE WALKING DEAD: WORLD BEYOND and films like Last Three Days and The Nanny Murders, but has also been pursuing his music career. The actor-musician has previously released some tracks online and GH fans always enjoyed his performances at the annual Nurses Ball, but now he’s getting serious!

Going by the name Palmer for this stage of his career, Watkins announced in April that he had signed a record deal with B. Martin and his label, Purpose Driven Artists, and was excited to release his first single. “Waiting” dropped at the end of May and the music video was released over the Fourth of July weekend.
