Michael Corbett Cast on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL!

A very familiar face is going to be showing up in Los Angeles! Michael Corbett will be appearing on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL as Judge Evan Scott beginning in the episode scheduled to air on Friday, July 21!

Corbett kicked off his career on Broadway, where he was seen by a casting director who got him a job playing Michael Pavel Jr. on RYAN’S HOPE, a role he played from 1979-81. He then went on to play Warren Carter on SEARCH FOR TOMORROW from 1982-85, and in 1986 joined the cast of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as the notorious David Kimble! Though his psychotic character met a violent end in 1991 when he was killed in a trash compactor!

The Friday episode where Corbett plays Judge Scott also sees Rodney Van Johnson returning to B&B as Sheila’s attorney, Russell. Back in January, Sheila managed to manipulate her way into getting the judge to drop the attempted murder charges against her. That judge was played by Joe Lando, who also was willing to accept some cash to help Ridge get the judgment he wanted in an earlier hearing. Will Corbett’s judge play by the rules?

In addition to his acting, Corbett transitioned into hosting, working for the NBC entertainment news magazine EXTRA, and has appeared as a real estate expert on various talk shows like THE VIEW, TODAY, and LARRY KING LIVE. He’s also written three best-selling real estate books. And now he’s back in daytime!

Bill and Ridge went out of their way to make sure that they got a murder confession out of Sheila that would stick, but she remains determined to get out of jail free. Hopefully, Corbett is playing a good guy this time around, but even if he is, Judge Scott still might not be able to keep Sheila locked up for much longer! Stay tuned to see what happens!
