Melissa Ordway Moves into Her New Home!
After months of building their family’s new home, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Melissa Ordway (Abby) and her husband, Justin Gaston (ex-Chance), have a reason to celebrate: Their home is complete and they moved in!
The actress revealed the exciting news on Instagram, sharing a video montage of scenes from the family’s activities over the past few days, set to the song “Better Place” by NSYNC from the upcoming animated movie Trolls Band Together. “It was a big weekend,” Ordway captioned her post. “And not just because NSYNC came out with a new song.”
Orway’s video began with a snapshot of her and Gaston with their daughters, Olivia and Sophie before clips played of them toasting their new homestead with friends, Gaston dancing his way out of a building while holding a packet of papers (likely paperwork related to the house) in his hand, the girls and a little friend “cheersing” with juice in fancy glasses, a lovely shot of the expanse of trees and grass surrounding the home, and Gaston in front of a U-Haul. The video ended with Ordway and her husband sharing a kiss before looking at the camera and smiling.
For the past few years, the Y&R star has been commuting from Tennessee — where she and Gaston moved their family several years ago — to their home in Los Angeles when she was needed on the soap’s set. In April, Ordway shared that they had purchased a piece of property in December 2022 and that the builders were preparing to break ground on the couple’s dream home. Then, in June, the actress posted that she and Gaston had sold the home they’d been living in for the past few years in Tennessee. “Today, we said goodbye to a house that was filled with so many happy memories and fun times. We hope the new owners love it as much as we did!”
