Michelle Stafford and Amelia Heinle Share Childhood Secrets!

Tags:

There’s a lot of drama on-screen on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, but backstage it looks like the stars are having a whole lot of fun! At least Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) and Amelia Heinle (Victoria) sure are! The pair have previously shared a fun dance video on social media to embarrass their daughters, Natalia and Georgia, respectively, and now they’re sharing some childhood secrets!

With the camera set up in a dressing room, Stafford eats her lunch as she admits that her least favorite household job is emptying out the dishwasher. Heinle asks if her kids ever help, and she reveals they do not. “Neither do mine,” Heinle confides. “Never.” When Stafford asks what’s wrong with their children, Heinle replies: “It’s us. You have to make them do it. You have to threaten them…”

After a cut (and an adjustment to the lighting), the actresses both discuss being spanked as kids. “My dad had a thin belt that hurt and he had a thick belt that didn’t hurt,” Stafford confides. “So my sister and I manipulated the situation. When we’d hear him do the thick one, we’d be like, ‘Oh no! Not the thick one!’ Because the thick one didn’t hurt at all.” This sends them both into fits of laughter.

Then Heinle has a confession of her own. “I stole the keys to the car and I hid them so that my mom couldn’t take us to school,” she reveals. Stafford then declares that when she was younger, she had parties all the time. “If Natalia did any of this stuff that I did,” she adds, “Oh my God, I would lose my mind.”

This naturally leads the two moms to discuss their daughters, who they both agree are quiet. “Unlike us,” Heinle smiles. “I mean, unlike you, for sure. You talk a lot.” Stafford then defends herself as a communicator, declaring herself “I’m a communicator of joy.”

Sadly, after just a couple of minutes of fun, Heinle is called to the Y&R set to do her next scenes, so it’s time to say goodbye. But hopefully, only for now! We can’t wait to see this duo’s next fun video!
