What Happened to Emma on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL

Tags:

Forrester Creations got a new employee with a familiar face — Nia Sioux from DANCE MOMS  joined the cast of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL back in April of 2018. “I’m on set of the world’s most-watched daytime drama!” she gushed on Instagram at the time. And even before her first episode had aired, Sioux had even better news to share! “So excited to join the family as a series regular!” she tweeted shortly before her daytime debut. Unfortunately, her run came to an end in June of 2019 when Emma met a tragic fate!

Upon her introduction, Emma was immediately smitten with fellow Forrester intern, Xander Avant, and the two began a cute little romance. Unfortunately, it became complicated when his obsessed ex-girlfriend, Zoe, followed him from London. Although Xander promised Emma she was the one he wanted, she couldn’t help but get jealous every time she saw Zoe around him. Especially since Emma wanted to wait before taking their relationship to the next level and Zoe was more than willing to do whatever Xander wanted.

When Emma was accused to cyberstalking Hope (it was actually Zoe who was responsible), it was revealed that her last name is Barber and she’s Justin’s niece. But her loyalty to Forrester proved she wasn’t there as a spy for Spencer. Emma gave up on Xander and let Zoe have him, leading to her making only very intermittent appearances on the soap. But she popped back up again in June of 2019 when she overheard Xander and Zoe talking about Hope’s baby still being alive. A good person, Emma couldn’t understand why everyone was keeping this secret and defied Thomas’ threats to keep quiet. Unfortunately, as she drove to tell Hope the good news, Thomas ran Emma’s car off the road, killing her!

One of the original cast members of Lifetime’s DANCE MOMS series, Sioux left the reality show after seven seasons to pursue other opportunities. “The show has been a great platform, but it’s time to move on,” she told Teen Vogue. “During the show, I couldn’t take all the opportunities that I wanted to, and now since I’m off the show I’m getting to do what I want to do.”

Although she’s pursuing music and acting, Sioux admitted that dance would always be a part of her life. “No matter what I’m doing, dance is still going to be there,” she confided. “But I definitely want to go into other things. I have acting going on, music… performing is just part of who I am.” So we’ve no doubt that she’ll go on to continue having an amazing career!
