Alicia Leigh Willis Stars in a Thrilling New Movie!
Longtime fans of GENERAL HOSPITAL fondly remember Alicia Leigh Willis as the ill-fated Courtney on the soap, but they’ve been able to continue seeing her on screen in the years that followed with her numerous TV movies. And her latest, Her Boyfriend’s Deadly Secret, premieres Friday, Oct. 15, at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime Movie Network!
In the new thriller, Willis portrays Taryn, the mother of Sadie (played by Kalen Bull), a young woman who breaks up with her seemingly perfect boyfriend and soon finds herself getting mixed up with a handsome bad boy named Gavin. But as the title kind of gives away, Sadie’s boyfriend has a deadly secret! And as Taryn tries to protect her daughter from the danger that surrounds them both, not everyone will survive!
Willis made her daytime debut as Alli Fowler on NBC sudser ANOTHER WORLD back in 1999, and in 2001, joined the cast of GH as Sonny’s sister, Courtney Matthews. Although the character was killed off in 2006 shortly after giving birth to her son, Spencer, the actress did reprise the role in 2015 to pay her family a ghostly visit and again in 2020 to help welcome her father, Mike, to the other side.
Since leaving GH, Willis has not stopped working, with roles on primetime series like AMERICAN HEIRESS and THE L WORD, plus numerous TV movies like Dangerous Company, Mommy’s Little Princess, and Saving My Daughter.
