James Patrick Stuart Gets Into The Holiday Spirit on His Other Show!
With everything going on with GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Charlotte lately, Christmas may not be a very festive season for her Papa, Valentin. But portrayer James Patrick Stuart is certainly getting into the holiday spirit on his other show, Disney Channel’s THE VILLAINS OF VALLEY VIEW! The episode airing on Friday, Dec. 1, is not only the finale for the family sitcom’s sophomore season, but it is also a Christmas-themed episode that is sure to leave you laughing!
“Tune in to Disney Channel this Friday, Dec. 1, at 9 p.m. to see our Christmas episode of Villains of Valley View,” Stuart wrote on Instagram. “It promises to be fun for the whole family.” (The episode will also be available for streaming Disney+ beginning Dec. 6.)
On the Disney series, Stuart plays Vic Madden, the patriarch of a family of supervillains hiding out from their enemies in suburban Texas. According to the official logline for the episode titled “A Very Villain Christmas,” the Maddens are preparing to spend their first Christmas celebration in Valley View — and viewers can expect a delightful blend of humor and heartwarming moments. As teens Amy and Jake embark on a quest to secure their most coveted Christmas gift, the episode unfolds with laughter and unexpected twists. Amid the chaos and villainous schemes, the Madden family discovers the true meaning of Christmas, emphasizing the spirit of joy, love, and togetherness.
The GH star was cast on the Disney Channel series back in mid-2021, and wrapped work on the first season of THE VILLAINS OF VALLEY VIEW in the spring of 2022. Since ABC owns both series, Stuart has been able to juggle working on both shows at once — even if his appearances as Valentin are occasionally scaled back a bit to accommodate both filming schedules!
