Joshua Benard Returns to GENERAL HOSPITAL!
A familiar face is popping back up in Port Charles very soon! Joshua Benard is returning to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Adam! Soap Opera Digest is reporting in their new issue that Benard should be appearing the week of November 14, although there was no specific air date given for his episode or episodes.
Maurice Benard’s son first appeared on GH as a young Sonny back in 2018 in the special “What If?” episode celebrating his father’s 25th anniversary on the soap. He then returned in March 2022 as a new character: Adam, a classmate of Josslyn’s who teased her about the sex tape of her and Cameron that Esme leaked to all the students at PCU.
Benard reprised his role a couple of months later, in May, for another episode where Adam apologized to Joss for the way he’d talked to her. But what will Adam have to say this time around? Might he have an opinion about seeing her and Dex together? Perhaps this time around Benard will share the screen with his father? You’ll have to tune in to find out!
The young performer is following in his father’s footsteps, appearing in episodes of primetime series like STATION 19 and GOOD TROUBLE. His most recent role was playing another character named Adam in two episodes of the HBO Max series THE REHEARSAL.
