Lisa LoCicero Regrets Letting Her Daughter Name Their New Kitten

Tags:

When a family gets a new pet, one of the first questions is what to name them. And today, GENERAL HOSPITAL star Lisa LoCicero (Olivia) jokingly admitted she regrets allowing her daughter, Verity, to decide what they’ll be calling their new kitten. “Reminder: Never promise a five-year-old they can name the new family pet,” she tweeted. “Her top choice is ‘Dr. Hernandez.’” And the actress later confided she has “no idea” where Verity got the idea for the unique moniker!

LoCicero was bemused and her fans thought the whole thing was kind of hilarious. One of them argued that if she’s a doctor, it suggests the kitty is quite smart. Former GH headwriter Ron Carlivati asked what was wrong with the name, and LoCicero admitted, “It’s kind of a mouthful, but better than Princess or Stripesy or some such…”

Later sharing a photo of her holding the absolutely adorable kitten on her shoulder as Verity holds a small bowl in front of the pet’s face, LoCicero captioned it “New kitten gets breakfast in bed,” implying the kitty is getting the royal treatment from her new family. And when Carlivati responded by posting: “Good morning, Dr. Hernandez,” Locicero added, “Yes… yes… ‘Paging Dr. Hernandez’” followed by a neutral face emoji and a facepalm emoji.

So it sounds like Verity might get her way and LoCicero’s new fur baby will indeed be dubbed Dr. Hernandez. Which is honestly pretty darn cute, if we’re being completely honest. And we look forward to seeing many more adorable photos of Dr. Hernandez — or whatever she ends up being called — as she continues being adorable!
