Tyler Christopher Explores His New Home
Fans of Tyler Christopher (ex-Stefan, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; ex-Nikolas, GENERAL HOSPITAL) were happy when the actor returned to social media back in October 2021. And while his posts have been a little sporadic since then, he recently shared his love for his new home in San Diego with a few photos!
“Is there anything better than exploring your new city and discovering the neighborhood gems?” Christopher mused. “Dollar oysters at Ironside Fish & Oyster — yes! Cold-brew ice cream at Salt & Straw Ice Cream — 100%.”
It certainly looks like the actor was enjoying the specially-priced oysters during happy hour. “Better than any five-dollar oyster anywhere,” he declared in the comments. And judging from his pic, he found Salt & Straw’s cold brew coffee cashew praline the perfect dessert for his night out.
Christopher earned tons of loyal fans during his two runs as GH’s Nikolas Cassadine, and they were excited when he joined DAYS as Stefan DiMera. Unfortunately, Nikolas has been recast and Stefan was killed off, but these are soaps, so who knows what the future may hold?
In recent years, Christopher has appeared in the movies The Other Mother, Pretty Broken, F.R.E.D.I., and Max Winslow and the House of Secrets. He also discovered that his very first film, 1999’s Catfish in Black Bean Sauce, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a re-release on Amazon Prime Video. “Have been in a dozen or so since,” he remarked at the time, “but will always remember my first fondly.”
“Someday I will return to L.A.,” Christopher assured his fans, “but definitely enjoying life’s little detour.” And isn’t that what life is all about?
