Yes, That’s GH’s Easton Rocket Sweda in the New Old Navy Campaign!
If you’re doing a little back-to-school shopping for your kids and pop into Old Navy, you might encounter a familiar face! Yep, that’s GENERAL HOSPITAL child star Easton Rocket Sweda (Leo) modeling in the photos on display at the popular clothing store! “Check out Easton Rocket in the Back-To-School 2023 campaign at your local Old Navy!” his mom shared on Instagram with some pics.
Sweda took over the role of Leo Falconeri Quartermaine back in August 2021, and the talented young performer’s Autism was written into the soap as Olivia and Ned came to learn that Leo is Autistic. In the Instagram post of Sweda posing in front of his photo in an Old Navy store, his mom added the hashtags “#representationmatters” and “#autismacceptance.”
While the 12-year-old’s acting career is only just getting started with his role on GH and his upcoming role in the upcoming movie The Present, he’s been modeling for quite some time. Sweda has appeared in campaigns for Joah Love, Sovereign Code, Walmart, Zalando, Vans, Zara Kids, Paper Wings Australia, and now Old Navy! Back in May 2018, he also landed his first commercial, for the electric car company BYD.
Sweda has been seen a little more frequently on GH of late, with Leo having to adjust to the unusual situation of his father, Ned, believing himself to be Eddie Maine. And fans have been loving the scenes between him and Wally Kurth (Ned) as they deal with this new normal. But now fans should also keep an eye out for Sweda when they go shopping because you never know where his face might appear next!
