Michael Corbett Returns to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL

A familiar face is popping back up when Michael Corbett returns to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL on Friday, Sept. 22! The actor will be reprising the role of Judge Evan Scott, which he originally played back in July when the judge set Sheila free.
However, while viewers might be surprised to see the character again, Corbett confided in the new issue of Soap Opera Digest that he was told during his original appearance that he would be coming back for more.
“We will learn more about the character’s past,” the actor teased, “and there is more to this guy than meets the eye.”

Corbett’s daytime career kicked off when he was cast as Michael Pavel, Jr. on RYAN’S HOPE back in 1979. Then, in 2982, he joined the cast of SEARCH FOR TOMORROW as Warren Carter. But he is probably best known for his turn as the villainous David Kimble on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, a role he played from 1986-91.
Outside of soaps, Corbett can be seen in movies like Shadow of Doubt, To Protect and Serve, and A Million Happy Nows, series like THE KING OF QUEENS, ZOEY 101, and VENICE THE SERIES, and lending his voice to animated projects like THE FANTASTIC VOYAGES OF SINBAD THE SAILOR, ParaNorman, and Hotel Transylvania.
While it initially seemed that Judge Scott released Sheila from prison on a technicality, the character’s return to the canvas would indicate that there is much more to the story. Could he have a past with the villainess? You’ll definitely want to make sure to tune in to B&B to see what twists and turns lay ahead!
