Emme Rylan Has a New Home!
A week after complaining that the house hunting wasn’t going well, GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Emme Rylan (ex-Lulu) and her family finally have a home! “We. Found. A. Place. To. Live,” she enthused on Instagram. “The rental market here in Los Angeles is crazy. Hundreds of applicants on every listing! We have been living out of suitcases for six months and tomorrow, we move into our own place!”
Rylan hasn’t shared any photos of the interior as it is still in need of decorating, but she did share a snap of the entrance to their new abode! “I would like to introduce you to our front door!” she announced. “Sure, the crystal windows aren’t necessarily our style but I have never loved a door so much! I feel like she needs a name. (Suggestions?) Inside, the place needs some serious decorating help, so welcome to the beginning of endless renter-friendly DIY decor projects!”
Back in October 2020, Rylan announced that she had been written off GH and since their landlord had sold their home, decided to go on a road trip with partner Don Money and their kids, Jackson, Levi, and Dakota. By March 2021, the family had concluded their adventure — which included visiting Rylan’s grandparents — and returned to Los Angeles. Unfortunately, because they still hadn’t been able to find a place to live, they were staying at her sister’s place for the time being.
Thankfully, Rylan’s clan now has a home to call their own and they can finally get settled again. And we look forward to seeing pics of the inside once they’ve had a chance to put their stamp on it and get it decorated. Then, hopefully, the talented actress can get back to work because fans miss seeing her! GH fans naturally want her back in Port Charles, but Rylan got her start on GUIDING LIGHT and also starred on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS for a time so she could easily find a home on another daytime drama.
