Emme Rylan Is Having the Best Time in St. Louis!
With the Writers Guild and Screen Actors Guild strikes essentially shutting down Hollywood for the time being, actress Emme Rylan decided that she and partner Don Money would pack up the kids and hit the road for a while. Although as she’s said, she’s still working and would be happy to come back to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Lulu should the soap decide to call on her again!
“Weekend find!” Rylan enthused as she showed a video of her family enjoying a day at the arcade set to “Living My Best Life” by Ben Rector. “This place was awesome!”
And this wasn’t even a sponsored social media ad, because Rylan didn’t name the place where they had so much fun! (It’s called Up-Down: St. Louis’ Arcade Bar, and features more than 60 arcade games from the ‘80s and ‘90s, pinball, Skee-Ball, Nintendo 64 console gaming, as well as life-sized Jenga and Connect Four!)
In Rylan’s video, she shows off some of the atmosphere at Up-Down, daughter Dakota playing Time Crisis II with her dad, Rylan and Money furiously competing against each other as they mash buttons on the arcade machines, the family enjoying a round of Mario Kart on a big screen, and Dakota sitting in her mom’s lap as she plays Hydro Thunder with Dad on the unit next to them.
Naturally, as Rylan has said before, anytime she spends any length of time in St. Louis, fans immediately assume the family has moved back there permanently. “We are spending time out of L.A. during the strike,” the actress assured a fan. “Loving it!”
And of course, to those fans who commented on her video wishing she’d come back to GH as Lulu, Rylan reiterated: “I’m available whenever Lulu wakes up!”
Not that we want to spoil Rylan’s family fun — because it does look like a lot of fun! — we also wish that Lulu would wake up soon and the actress would be back on our screens in the role.
