It’s been almost a year since former GENERAL HOSPITAL star Haley Pullos (ex-Molly) was involved in a near-fatal DUI accident. While the actress initially pled not guilty to the felony charges lodged against her, Daily Mail reports that Pullos is trying to negotiate a deal with prosecutors to change her plea to guilty in exchange for a reduced sentence.

As previously reported, in April 2023, Pullos was arrested after she drove the wrong way on a Pasadena freeway while intoxicated and collided head-on with another vehicle at approximately 60 MPH. While thankfully no one was killed in the horrific accident, the other driver, Courtney Wilder, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. (He later filed a civil lawsuit against Pullos.)

Pullos previously pled not guilty to the charges brought against her — one felony count of DUI causing injury, one felony count of driving with a .08 blood alcohol concentration, and one misdemeanor count of hit-and-run — and is facing up to three years in prison. However, according to the Daily Mail, during a hearing in Pasadena on Feb. 28 (at which Pullos was not present), Judge Terry Smerling heard that her attorneys and prosecutors in the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office have been working on a potential settlement.

Facing up to three years in prison, Pullos is willing to change her plea to guilty in exchange for a lessened sentence; that could potentially mean less or no jail time, or even house arrest, if prosecutors agree. Judge Smerling scheduled another hearing for April 8, reportedly stating that it “should be the final” hearing in the case. If a deal has not been reached between the prosecutor’s office and Pullos’ legal team by then, Deputy District Attorney Melany Avanessians stated that she would be prepared to proceed with a full trial.

At the time of the accident, officers investigating the crash found marijuana edibles and mini bottles of tequila in the car that Pullos had been driving; the actress had also shown signs of intoxication. The former GH star was later arrested at the hospital after receiving treatment for minor injuries.
