GH’s Michael Blake Kruse and Wife Cara Welcome a Beautiful Baby Boy!
Please join us in congratulating GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Michael Blake Kruse (ex-Rory) and his wife, Cara, on the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Zion Blake Kruse! “Happy Birthday, baby boy!” Cara declared on Instagram, sharing the first photos of their bundle of joy. “You are pure love.”
Kruse and his wife already have a daughter, Harlow, who turned two back in November. But after the couple announced that they were expecting again back in September, they then revealed in October that their second child would be their first son! “We’re about to even up the score,” Cara joked at the time.
The photos that the proud parents shared include a couple of close-ups of the newborn, a selfie of the parents with Zion, a photo of Kruse cradling his son, and Cara in her hospital bed with Zion giving the infant that all-important skin-to-skin contact.
Kruse made an immediate impression on viewers when he joined the cast of GH in March 2022 as rookie cop Rory Cabrera. He was positioned as a spoiler to the popular pairing of Trina and Spencer, but the obstacle to “Sprina’s” happiness was removed when Rory was killed off in December of that year, a victim of The Hook.
Before GH, Kruse appeared in episodes of CRIMINAL MINDS and GREY’S ANATOMY, and more recently could be seen in CHICAGO P.D. and playing a government agent in the hit Marvel superhero movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Zion is absolutely beautiful, and we can’t wait to see even more adorable photos of the boy as he grows up! All our best to the entire happy family!
