Nancy Lee Grahn Triumphs Over Twitter Hacker

Tags:

Early on the morning of June 20, GENERAL HOSPITAL fans noticed some curious tweets coming from Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) that very quickly made it clear that she was the victim of a vicious cyber attack from a hacker who specifically targeted her. Thankfully, by 6 p.m. that evening, order had been restored and Grahn was once again in control of her Twitter account, removing all of the offensive material that had been posted by the hacker.

“Hi friends,” she tweeted. “Regrettably and quite obviously, my account was recently hacked and I sincerely apologize for any harmful rhetoric that was shared without my consent.”

Grahn has always been very active on Twitter, so fans were naturally happy to have her back on the platform. And when one noted that it normally takes weeks or even months to get a hacked account back, she replied: “That is Elon’s plan. I had help.”

One of the tweets that had fans concerned was one where she declared that she was leaving GH to “move on to bigger and better things.” So when asked if she was still on the soap, Grahn simply replied, “Of course.”

Another of the hacker’s tweets contained a voice clip of Grahn as well as what appeared to be her personal phone number. So in addition to assuring fans that she was back in control of her Twitter once more, the actress also revealed that she had changed her number.

While it’s terrific that Grahn was able to regain control of her Twitter account so soon after being hacked, it would be even better if the hacker could be found and brought to justice for what they’ve done. Because She probably wasn’t their only victim!
