What Happened to Parker on GENERAL HOSPITAL
Parker hasn’t been on GENERAL HOSPITAL for a few years, but there is still a loyal group of devoted fans who keep hoping she’ll be back. The character first appeared in January 2016, played by actress Ashley Jones. She ran through April, then came back for more in July and August. In 2017, Jones returned to GH for another run that lasted from August until October. Could Parker come back for more in the future? Only time will tell! But since her recurring appearances were so sparse, here’s what you need to know about her!
Kristina Davis was suspended from college for offering sex to a professor in exchange for a better grade, and when Parker Forsythe showed up in Port Charles, it was revealed that the teacher was actually a woman. Realizing Kristina hadn’t told her mother, Alexis Davis, about her suspension, Parker warned her to figure out what she wanted and get her life together. Kristina insisted that Parker had feelings for her and threatened to tell her wife, but Parker denied this.
Months later, Parker visited Kristina and they shared a kiss. Later, Kristina paid a visit to Parker to let her know she’d moved on and was dating a boy named Aaron Roland. Parker admitted that she and her wife had split up, and Kristina offered her comfort which soon turned to sex. However, even as Kristina began to come to terms with her sexuality, Alexis stepped in and warned Parker off, which led the professor to dump Kristina via a letter and disappear.
The following year, Parker resurfaced, teaching at Port Charles University, where Kristina’s sister, Molly Lansing Davis was one of her pupils. After running into Parker and learning that she was unable to salvage her marriage, Kristina tried to spark her jealousy by kissing Valerie Spencer at the Floating Rib. Unfortunately, as Kristina and Parker began dating for real, the professor was fired when the Dean found out about their relationship. Accusing Alexis of interfering and getting Parker fired, Kristina announced her intention to move to Oregon to be with her girlfriend. However, a year later, Kristina returned to Port Charles and revealed that they’d split up. Might Parker resurface in Kristina’s life someday? Stay tuned to find out!
