Will Stella Stop the Wedding on GH? — Vernee Watson Speaks Out!

Fans have been waiting a long time for the other shoe to drop in the storyline about Trina’s paternity on GENERAL HOSPITAL and it looks like Stella might finally be the one to set things in motion! After her conversation with Jordan about the genealogy tests, Stella put the pieces together and realized that Trina could be Curtis’ daughter, not Taggert’s. But with Portia and Curtis’ wedding coming up, will she expose the secret before, during, or after the ceremony?

“Stella is supposed to be officiating the wedding,” Vernee Watson (Stella) explained in a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest. And she has to go with Portia to pick out the gown knowing all this information, and Portia, all this time, has never hinted that this is a possibility!

“Stella doesn’t want to jump on Portia because her wedding is coming up,” she continued. “She doesn’t want to just come out and ask. But I would really hope that Stella would step up to the plate and be honest because she is very concerned about her nephew’s happiness.”

The question is, how long will Stella give Portia to come clean before she does it for her? She certainly doesn’t want Curtis to marry another woman who is keeping a massive secret from him… that’s exactly what split up him and Jordan before.

“People are not being honest,” Watson declared. “They’re being deceitful and Stella needs to get to the bottom of it. She needs to get proof and she needs to do it before Curtis walks down the aisle. It’s a pickle, I tell you!”

So GH fans will want to make sure they RSVP for Curtis and Portia’s Valentine’s Day nuptials because it promises to be an event you won’t want to miss!
