Scarlett Fernandez Returns to GENERAL HOSPITAL!
She’s back! Scarlett Fernandez has returned to GENERAL HOSPITAL and Charlotte should be appearing very soon! “You have no idea how happy this made me!” the young actress shared on Instagram with a photo of herself standing outside the GH studio. “I love this place, I love the people, and I love being Charlotte. It’s been five years of playing her and I have loved every day!”
Although her initial photo caption would seem to be celebrating her five years with the soap playing Charlotte Cassadine, she confirmed in the comments that this does, in fact, mean that she was back at the set taping scenes. “That’s what it means!” she happily declared to a curious fan. We’re just happy to see Fernandez back at work after she was seriously injured in a bad bike crash earlier this summer.
Fernandez, who recently began the seventh grade, has been playing the troublemaking Charlotte Cassadine since October 2016 when the little girl was introduced with a “Who’s the Daddy” storyline. Of course, things got even more complicated when it was revealed that neither Nathan nor Griffin were the babydaddy and Claudette was only the surrogate — Valentin and Lulu were Charlotte’s biological parents!
Charlotte was mentioned back in May when she moved into the Quartermaine mansion with Valentin, but the last time she was actually seen on screen was back in March when he told his daughter that she was going to be a big sister. Of course, he still has no idea that the baby Brook Lynn is raising is actually Maxie’s, and neither does Charlotte… at least not yet!
Unfortunately, Fernandez didn’t give any details as to when she would be back on the show. She could have just taped scenes that would air in 3-4 weeks, per the usual shooting schedule, or she could have been on set last month and her episode or episodes are about to air now! You’ll just to have to stay tuned to find out!
