Steve Burton Finalizes His Divorce

It’s official. Soap star Steve Burton has finalized his divorce from Sheree Gustin. The actor — who currently stars as Harris on DAYS OF OUR LIVES, but previously played Jason on GENERAL HOSPITAL and Dylan on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS — went public with news of their separation back in May 2022.

According to court documents obtained by People, the couple will share joint legal and physical custody of their minor children, Jack and Brooklyn. Burton will pay Sheree $12.500 per month in child support until April 2024, after which he will pay $10,000 monthly. They both waived their rights to spousal support, but Sheree will receive $50,000 as retroactive support.

Burton and Sheree were married on Jan. 17, 1999, and have three children together. The two minors are Jack, 17, and Brooklyn, 9. The couple have an older daughter, Makena, who is now 20. At the time Burton announced the separation, Sheree was pregnant again, though he confirmed, “The child is not mine.” Sheree showed off her daughter Izabella in February 2023 and in October revealed that she was “unexpectedly expecting” her fifth child, another girl.

After going public with their separation in May 2022, Burton filed for divorce in July. According to the court documents, the official date of their separation was March 1, 2022, and the reason for the split was irreconcilable differences.
