Like any proud mama, GENERAL HOSPITAL star Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) is happy to tout the various accomplishments of her musically-gifted daughter, Kate Grahn. So when one of the songs from Kate’s debut album, Ragdoll, was going to be featured in a TV series, Mom was quick to share the big news!

“I happen to be a big fan of GOOD TROUBLE and its executive producer, Joanna Johnson (ex-Caroline/Karen, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL), who I’ve admired for years,” Grahn shared on Instagram. “Listen for Kate Grahn’s original ‘The Name’ tonight on Freeform!”

Johnson, who in addition to her B&B roles also executive produced and wrote for the ABC Family series THE FOSTERS, responded in kind. “Thank you, Nancy!” she tweeted. “So happy we could feature your talented daughter and her amazing music on the show! And I’m a big fan of yours as well!”

GOOD TROUBLE airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Freeform and is currently in the middle of its third season. The spinoff of THE FOSTERS follows characters Callie and Mariana as they embark on the next stage of their lives living and working in Los Angeles. Kate’s song, “The Name” will be heard in the episode titled “Shame” premiering on Wednesday, July 21. However, if you miss that, GOOD TROUBLE is also available the next day to stream on Hulu!

And you can always listen to the song right here so you’ll know it when you hear it in the show!
