Since leaving the role of Dillon Quartermaine on GENERAL HOSPITAL, Robert Palmer Watkins has been keeping very busy. Recently he signed a record deal and released his first new single and now he’s wrapped his role in the upcoming second season of AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD: WORLD BEYOND! “Today wraps this awesome journey for me on season two of THE WALKING DEAD: WORLD BEYOND,” he exclaimed on Instagram. “Had a blast bringing Lt. Frank Newton back this season! Can’t wait for this to air!”

THE WALKING DEAD: WORLD BEYOND is a spinoff of the hit AMC series THE WALKING DEAD that focuses on a group of teens struggling to live in a world 10 years after a zombie apocalypse changed everything. Watkins debuted as Lt. Frank Newton in episode eight of the first season and is returning for multiple episodes of the second and final season of the limited series. Season two does not yet have an official premiere date.

“Huge thanks to [writer and showrunner] Matt Negrete, [executive producer] Scott Gimple, AMC TV, and all the cast and crew for busting their asses in Virginia expanding this story!” Watkins declared.
