GENERAL HOSPITAL Preempted for Four Days — Get the Full Schedule

Heads up — GENERAL HOSPITAL is being preempted for four days on Tuesday, Sept. 29, Wednesday, Sept. 30, Thursday, Oct. 1, and Friday, Oct. 2. ABC will be airing the Major League Baseball Wild Card rounds on those three dates. Originally, it was planned to be just the first three days and Friday was in question, but now baseball will be airing on that day as well.

When the preemptions were first announced, ABC was planning to air encore episodes of GH from February 2015 in areas where MLB didn’t overlap the soap’s time slot. These would have included Franco drugging himself to stay near Nina, a bomb going off on the Haunted Star with Sonny playing hero, and Carlos shooting Ava and leaving her for dead. Unfortunately, that plan has changed and now local ABC affiliates will be airing programming yet to be determined instead.

The preemption is not for the entire week, though, so make sure that you tune in to a brand new episode of GH on Monday, Sept. 28 for all the drama. And then come back on Monday, Oct. 5 when the drama picks up right where it left off the week before!
