Josh and Lauren Swickard Celebrate Their Anniversary
Please join us in congratulating GENERAL HOSPITAL star Josh Swickard (Chase) as he and his wife Lauren celebrate their third wedding anniversary! “Happy Anniversary, Lo,” the actor shared on Instagram. “Thanks for being my travel buddy, baby mama, lover. Life is better with you and I’m forever grateful.”
In the comments to his post, Lauren responded: “I love you. And I love that you chose this picture. Best memory ever. (Aside from the being super sick this day part! Ha ha!)”
While neither of them gave any further details about the photo and why that particular road trip was the best memory ever, Lauren feeling sick could have been morning sickness if this selfie was snapped after she learned she was expecting. The couple — who tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony on July 6, 2019 — welcomed their daughter Savannah on April 2, 2021.
The Swickards first met on the set of the movie Roped where it was love at first sight for the two actors! “I never believed people when they said, ‘When you know, you know,’” Swickard told Soaps In Depth. “And then I met Lauren — and when you know, you know!”
The couple announced their engagement publicly in December 2018 after he popped the question while skiing in Beaver Creek with their families. “Her family has a tradition of playing charades,” he revealed, “So I proposed during a game. After I acted it out, I said, ‘Well… this was not a charade.’ It was super cheesy, hokey, and fun!”
The actor and actress also occasionally mix business and pleasure, co-starring together in the two A California Christmas movies that were big hits on Netflix!
Josh and Lauren Swickard are clearly very much in love and we wish them all the best for a lifetime of continued happiness together!
