Vanessa Marcil’s Partner MC Is in the Hospital

Please join us in sending healing thoughts to MC, the partner of GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Vanessa Marcil (ex-Brenda) who is currently in the hospital recovering. While the actress didn’t reveal exactly what had happened to the law enforcement officer, but shared a photo of MC laying in a hospital bed on Sept. 27 with both arms bandaged and another bandage on his neck.

“My family want to thank the late-night ER doctors, nurses, law enforcement, and entire staff at Cedars Sinai for their incredible care all night and into the day today,” Marcil wrote. “Deep gratitude to The Grossman Burn Center for your care of MC. First responders, we see you all who work on the frontlines all night in the ER and the tireless work you all do for our communities.”

Fans and friends filled up the comments with love and prayers for a speedy recovery, including some of her GH co-stars. “Everything all right, sweetheart?” asked Maurice Benard (Sonny). “How’s he doing?” And Finola Hughes (Anna) wrote: “Sending lots of healing light.”

Marcil earned legions of loyal daytime fans when she joined the cast of GH in 1992 as Brenda Barrett, and they have followed the Emmy-winning actress as she has continued her career with roles on primetime series like BEVERLY HILLS 90210, NYPD BLUE, and LAS VEGAS.

Marcil went public with her relationship with United States Air Force vet MC back in 2015, announcing their engagement. While the couple has yet to officially tie the knot, they have remained a solid couple to this day and have created a blended family with her son, Kassius, and his daughter, Riley.
