Watch Wally Kurth’s Beautiful Performance of “Silent Night”

Tags:

Soap star Wally Kurth (Ned, GENERAL HOSPITAL; Justin, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) had a very special holiday gift for his fans. A video he shot himself in his living room playing the guitar and singing an absolutely lovely acoustic version of “Silent Night.”

“For everyone who celebrates, Merry Christmas,” he shared on Instagram. “Wishing you a very ‘Silent Night.’”

Kurth started his daytime career back in 1987 playing Justin Kiriakis on DAYS and after exiting in 1991, joined the cast of GH as a recast of Ned Quartermaine. Currently, he appears on both soaps, and has earned three Daytime Emmy Award nominations for his work on them.

In addition to his acting, Kurth is also a talented musician and half of the band Kurth and Taylor. He’s also a member of The Day Players, a band that includes his DAYS co-stars Carson Boatman (Johnny), Eric Martsolf (Brady), and Brandon Barash (Stefan).

GH fans have gotten to hear Kurth sing on the soap, and recently, with the storyline where Ned had amnesia and believed himself to be his rock star alter ego Eddie Maine again. But now everyone gets to enjoy his talent!
