Bryan Craig Mourns the Death of His Beloved Grandmother

Tags:

Please join us in sending love to GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan) as he mourns the loss of his beloved grandmother, who passed away at the age of 97. “I’m crushed,” he shared in an Instagram story with an old photo of himself as a toddler in her arms. “I miss you already. I love you so much, my Mima.

“I should’ve went one more time,” he added. “I didn’t think it would come this soon. I hope ghosts are real. I hope you will visit me again. I love you, Grandma.”

Back on March 1, 2018, Craig shared the same photo of himself and his Mima to celebrate her birthday. “Love this woman to the moon and back,” he wrote. “Feliz cumpleaños a la mejor abuela dulce que alguna vez podría pedir [Happy Birthday to the sweetest grandma you could ever ask for]. 92 years old and still kicking ass.”

Craig got his big break back in 2013 when he joined the cast of GH as the newest recast of Morgan Corinthos. Before the character was killed off in 2016, the talented young actor earned five Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Younger Actor, taking home the trophy in both 2016 and 2017.

After leaving Port Charles, Craig landed the role of Adam Coogan in The CW’s short-lived primetime series VALOR, and starred as Javi Mendoza in ABC’s primetime sudser GRAND HOTEL. He also appeared in primetime series like NARC and WALKER as well as in films like American Fighter, Women Is Losers, and That’s Amor. He currently stars as Joaquin Peréz on the Freeform series GOOD TROUBLE.

Our thoughts are with Craig and his entire family during this difficult time.
