Ellen Travolta Returns to GENERAL HOSPITAL!

Fans who have enjoyed seeing Rena Sofer again as Lois can now look forward to seeing Lois’ mom as Ellen Travolta returns to GENERAL HOSPITAL!

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Travolta will be coming back as Gloria Cerullo, a role she originated back in the mid-90s, for a special appearance in time for Thanksgiving. Back then, Gloria wasn’t thrilled that Lois had fallen in love with another musician, so how will she react now to learn that Ned thinks he’s “Eddie Maine” again?

Sister to John Travolta, the actress is probably best known for playing Fonzie and Chachi’s aunt Louisa Arcola Delvecchio on HAPPY DAYS and JOANIE LOVES CHACHI. She also played the mother of Scott Baio’s character on CHARLES IN CHARGE in the late ‘80s. Travolta could also be seen in some episodes of her brother’s hit sitcom WELCOME BACK, KOTTER, where she played Mrs. Horshack-O’Hara.
