Maurice Benard Introduces His Beautiful New Grandson!
Prepare yourselves for cuteness overload: GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Maurice Benard (Sonny) is a grandfather again! The actor’s daughter, Cailey, and her husband, Carlos, recently welcomed a baby boy into their family. And Benard introduced his first grandson to his social media followers in the absolute cutest way!
Cailey and Carlos are already the parents of a little girl, Tiana, nicknamed TT. The toddler is the apple of her grandfather’s eye and frequently appears alongside Benard in his Instagram Stories and videos. So, it seemed fitting that Benard’s first post of his daughter and son-in-law’s newborn, Milo, was the moment sweet TT met her little brother!
The video begins with TT running down a hallway into a living room, where little Milo is asleep in a baby carrier. As Benard kneels next to his grandson, TT adorably warns him — and then her own father! — to not touch the baby.
After TT gets a good look at baby Milo in his carrier, the video cuts to the toddler sitting on the couch, holding her little brother (with some help from her mom!) while Benard smiles lovingly at the two. And again, TT tells her Papa not to touch him. “That’s funny as hell,” Benard says after being admonished by TT.
The video closes out with a sweet snapshot of Benard and Milo cuddled together on the couch, and finally one of Cailey holding her newborn in her hospital bed shortly after giving birth.
“Watching my granddaughter, TT, meet her new baby brother, Milo, brought incredible joy to my life,” the GH star captioned the video. “It didn’t matter that she didn’t want me touching her baby brother. If you are ever feeling down, just go find yourself a child or a puppy — everything will turn around for you.
“Carlos and Cailey are now gonna be parents of two beautiful kids,” the proud grandfather concluded, “and I’m gonna have so much fun enjoying the ride.”
In addition to TT and Milo, the actor and his wife, Paula, are also the grandparents of Eloise Rose, whose parents are the Benards’ daughter, Heather, and her husband, Phil. Please join us in congratulating the entire Benard family on the arrival of sweet little Milo!
