Rebecca Budig Reunites With Jophielle Love… and “Roxy!”

Fans still wish that Hayden would come back to GENERAL HOSPITAL to be with her daughter, Violet (and Finn!) but while they continue to wait for that day, the actors enjoyed a real-life reunion… and with a special guest, too!

Rebecca Budig (ex-Hayden) had previously posted a photo of herself laughing as a bearded dragon climbs up to her shoulder. “I miss Roxy,” she joked, referencing Finn’s pet lizard on GH. “Welcome Ranger the science lab bearded dragon and our guest for the week.”

But Budig and her daughter, Charlotte, weren’t the only ones who got to enjoy the unique pet because Jophielle Love (Violet) stopped by for a visit just a couple of days later! “It had been too long!” the young actress declared in the comments of her TV mom’s post. “And pretty cool to actually hang with a real bearded dragon… instead of just talking about one! Are you sure her name is not Roxy?”

Budig made her daytime debut back in 1995 when she joined the cast of GUIDING LIGHT as Michelle Bauer and continued to earn legions of loyal soap fans when she began playing Greenlee Smythe on ALL MY CHILDREN in 1999. After AMC’s final episode in 2011, the actress returned to daytime in 2015 when she originated the character of Hayden Barnes on GH.

Fans were disappointed when Hayden was written out of the soap in November 2019 and have continued to hold out hope that Budig will one day reprise her role. But while Violet doesn’t get to spend time with her mom, it’s still nice to know that Love gets to hang out with Budig every now and then!
