GH’s Eden McCoy Shares a Personal Message With Fans

Fans were startled when the role of Josslyn was suddenly recast on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but relieved to learn that Courtney Fulk is only a temporary replacement for Eden McCoy, who will be back in the new year. However, in addition to taking some time off of work, the actress is also stepping away from social media.

“Wanted to hop on and wish everyone happy holidays,” McCoy posted on X, formerly Twitter. “I think I’m gonna take some time off of Twitter, but first needed to give thanks for all of the support within the last few weeks. Been a strange year, but I still feel very lucky. Wishing everyone reading this love and health.”

2023 was a year of highs and lows for McCoy. After sharing on Nov. 6 that her beloved mother had passed away following a brave battle with cancer, the actress found herself being awarded the trophy for Outstanding Younger Performer at the 2023 Daytime Emmy Awards on Dec. 15.

While the comments on her post quickly filled up with nothing but love from fans, some suggested that taking a break from the often toxic world of social media might not be the worst idea in the world right now.

Please join us in sending McCoy nothing but love during this difficult time and welcoming her back to social media with open arms as soon as she feels ready to return. And, of course, welcoming her back as Josslyn on screen very soon as well!
