Matt Cohen Shows Off His Newest Tattoos!

Tags:

Most parents will happily hang their children’s drawings on the wall or tack them up on the fridge, but GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Matt Cohen (ex-Griffin) is making his son Mack’s drawings a permanent part of his life by having them tattooed onto his leg!

The actor shared a quick video on Instagram showing the terrific work of Los Angeles tattoo artist Todd Townsend. “Todd Townsend putting my son’s drawings on me for life!” Cohen declared. “Appreciate the heart and attention to detail, Toddy!”

Cohen already had a few tattoos on his right leg and now has added two more — a hulking gorilla and a little guy with long, curly arms and a wild hat! And as you can see in the video, Townsend recreated every bit of eight-year-old Mack’s linework perfectly!

“Yeah, buddy!” Townsend commented on Cohen’s post. “You have mad video skills! So great to see you yesterday! And, my brother, it was an honor to tattoo these meaningful pieces on you.”

Cohen earned legions of devoted daytime fans when he debuted as Dr. Griffin Monroe on GH back in February 2016. Although he exited in March 2019, the actor did return for a handful of episodes in December of that year and many viewers hope that he’ll be back again one day. The actor has been keeping plenty busy though, working as a correspondent for ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT from 2019-2023 and starring in the recent Hallmark Channel movie Made for Each Other.

Although Griffin had a rough life in Port Charles, in real life, Cohen found his happily ever after when he married actress Mandy Musgrave in 2011. The couple welcomed their son, Macklin, in April 2015, and clearly, Mack has inherited his parents’ artistic ability!
